    Routing the speedo cable in the tunnel...

    Does it go inside the channel along with the wire harness, or are there separate tabs to retain it? Thanks

    The tabs hold it down, I don't put it in with the harness because I only want the harness in there, if the speedo cable chafes against the harness it's bad.

    In practice you get it in and hope it doesn't bind up on the shift linkage and handbrake, hard to cinch the tabs down on it unless the car is on a lift. You will have to remove the entire handbrake assembly and shifter assembly to have a hope of doing it right, and even then it's a solid half-day. Get a flashlight, a dental mirror and some strong string to pull it through.
