1971 porsche 911 pressure plate bolt torque specs

I'm restoring a 1971 Porsche 911e and need to know the torque specs for the pressure plate, and if lock tight should be used. If anyone has any idea or opinion on this I would love to know.

my reference books list the torque value for the pressure plate bolts (8mm) as 18.4 ft lbs. (25Nm). I have not used lock tight on these bolts and I do not see the use of it mentioned in my reference books. I hope this info helps.

Just another data point: Hayne's (admittedly, not always the most authoritative source) lists 25 ft-lbs for pressure plate cover bolts. I could not find this spec in my factory service manual copy.

FWIW - I like Blue Loctite for anything I'm not expecting to take apart for a long time and don't want to rattle loose. Although probably not necessary, I can't think of any reason not to put a small drop on pressure plate bolts and I hope someone who knows otherwise will chime in as to why. I would not use Red Loctite for anything on the engine other than rod bolts, as it is slightly short of welding strength. My .02.
