Did factory use shims to adjust hood and frunk lids?

Just was curious if Porsche used shims under the hinges to adjust the height of the hood and frunk lids - or, if any of you have had to use them fitting panels not original to the car? If so, what kind of shims were used? thx

    Yes, and yes.

My car, which was pretty original had M8 washers under the front mount on the front hood hinge, to lower the back of the hood/scuttle area.

The engine lid had one washer under the top hinge mount to lift the lid/rear window area. My engine lid was not original to the car, so the witness holes in the hinge/hood didn't line up, and I redrilled it when I was fitting before paint.
