    FS: @eBay - '73 'T' ex-Barnfind . . .

    . . . as detailed on our site, here . . .
    http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...y-good-fortune

    . . . now up for bid, here . . .
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1973-...ht_1106wt_1064

    VIN = 9113100478
    Eng# = 6130762
    Trans# = 331302

. . . I am a Porsche Club of America member looking to sell my 1973 barn-find 911 T Coupe. This vehicle has a special order color code 622, Beige Grey. It is an early production 9/72 with mechanical fuel injection. The car retains all of its original interior & trim. Most of the paint is original as well. It is 100% rust-free. The hounds tooth interior is in perfect condition and corresponds well with the exterior color. Original 2.4 engine and 5-speed transmission run & perform as new . . .

I will let the pictures tell the story. This is certainly one of a kind in this condition - a rare opportunity for the discriminating buyer . . .

Photos from the 2013 Travers City Porsche Parade click here . . .

Photos of barn find, cleaning and detailing click here . . .

    Options include per COA:

    ...through-the-grill fog lights
    ...S moldings & trim
    ...alloy 15x6 forged wheels
    ...tinted glass
    ...S gauges
    ...leather wrapped steering wheel
    ...hounds tooth interior
    ...coco floor mats
    ...S front calipers
    ...front & rear sway bar
    ...AM-FM radio
    ...heated rear window
    ...power windows
    ...Koni shocks
    ...Perelli tires
    ...trumpet horns
    ...3-speed wipers

. . . The car has not been restored, it is a barn find that was put away in 1980 and taken out in 2011. I spent the next year cleaning and detailing this rare find. This is an all numbers matching car with 29,981 miles. Selling as is . . .

This car is a concours winner in pristine condition. It was featured in Classic Porsche magazine, Issue #15, Jan-Feb. 2013 . . .

The car was entered in the 2013 Travers City Porsche Parade Concours D'Elegance where it was awarded the Judges' Choice Award . . .

If you are looking for one of the best 911 T's in the world, this one may be for you! . . .

. . . For more information, see 73' Classic Barn Find - Sharing my good fortune. Link to forum click here . . .

I will answer any questions you may have about this car. Inspections are welcome with prior notification. Car is located in Central Minnesota . . .

A car like this would be hard for anyone to keep, IMO. Spectacular condition, low miles, + all stock/original w/ MFI . . . but too nice to use properly? More of a 'collector's' sort of thing

If you're asking about the price, then I could only guess. I believe that it was fg227 once said that 'you make your money when you buy' . . . and so, looking at where this car came from? . . . I would think that this Seller will do just fine

But eBay would not be my first choice. I think that a car like this would do better in an advertised auction . . . like Amelia or Monterey

    We'll see

I agree, an auction would be much better for a car like this.

$100K and with 37 bids and 4 days till end of auction. Wow!

With a knowledgeable seller, why should this go to auction? It's receiving plenty of attention and will cross the $100,000 barrier any moment. Steve is saving himself the auction house commission and putting all of the money in his own pocket. Bravo!

Beautiful car, with one exception. I had almost forgotten how unfortunate the rubber bumperettes are.
