    Help me find resoration thread

I was reading a restoration thread a couple of days ago and have lost it. It was about a early 911 that was painted gray with stripes and custom red leather interior and cibie lights. Eventually featured in Excellence. I think the thread started in 2008. I tried searching last night but came up empty. I'd appreciate it if someone could point it out to me.

I think the car you are referring to was Chris Neilsen's, I don't recall if there's a thread here but on PP it's http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...oming-t-r.html

Thanks! That's the one. No wonder I couldn't find it.

Yeah, I read that. Kind of shocked me, as I would have a hard time letting go of that one. Must have been a helluva price.

Thoroughly enjoyed the car but it found a loving and enthusiastic new caretaker. I've found that I enjoy the thrill of the hunt and the build...so I've replaced it with several great cars (67S, 69S, 964 and a backdate). Now my garage is full of projects...and apparently this makes me happy...or at least it keeps me very pre-occupied

In its new home and my first visit to Holland!

Chris what kind of set up do you need to do all that work? I'm particularly interested in the metal fabrication. What tools do you use?
