So I got my COA today for what I thought was numbers matching soft window targa. The COA states its a targa, but not a SWT. I'm wondering if this was tracked and if anyone out there has a COA that states SWT somewhere on it.
Thanks,
Julian

It is my understanding that all 67 Targas were soft windows so it was not listed as an option. In 68 the glass window became an option and I have seen that listed on the 68 COA as an option, Glass rear window. After 68 the soft window became an option so 69 on would have soft window listed on the COA as an option. My 67S SWT has no mention of the back window on the COA. Confusing but hope this helps.

Not sure that info is given on COA. I've read your other thread. Do what has been suggested, identify the chassis numbers: 1 is under the front trunk by the gas heater bin, the other is visible after removing the padded lower dash, at approx. the middle. Make sure those numbers (at least) match the COA.

Don/Brian- Thanks for the info. I had a feeling it may be a case of SWT was not an option but standard. Everything else on the COA matches, all the way down to the light metal wheels and the talbot mirror. I just sweated for a moment when I didn't see SWT anywhere on the COA. I actually called Porsche back and asked them. They said they would reopen the case. Who knows, maybe they will send a memo or something explaining the 67 "all were SW".
Great help- thanks guys
I will forward you my coa from the 67 swt. Does not mention swt because all 67 targas were soft window. Tate

The first hard window was offered in February 68 according to Ludvigsen.
