    MFI fuel pump rebuild

Who rebuilds Bosch MFI fuel pumps? Or does anyone know where to get the proper Orings needed in the build?

I'll still put in a plug for Gus, at Pacific Fuel Injection.

Do they do fuel pumps? He's talking about the electric supply pump, not the injection pump.

Gus Pfister at Pacific Fuel Injection has done two pumps for me, and he is definitely The Man. Both worked admirably right out of the box. I've also visited his shop and could understand why; he has all the proper Bosch test rigs, tools, and parts.

If you want to do it yourself, you need a copy of the book Porsche 911 Mechanical Fuel Injection Pump, 1969-1973, A DIY Step-By-Step Guide to Repair & Calibration of the PED 6 KL Mechanical Fuel Injection Pump at Home by Michael Burgess. We have it in stock.

Would not my CIS fuel pump work fine to supply my MFI fuel distributor?

Also Frank above, does your book cover the Bosch MFI fuel distributor rebuilding process and is it still available? Thank you,

My understanding is that the CIS pump fuel pressure is wrong for MFI. I _think_ the CIS pump pressure is too high, but don't quote me on that.
