Has anyone had luck with repairing one of the spade connectors?

My L spade broke off due to the rivet failing.

Can I jumper off the R terminal, or will it overload the switch?

Tony, send me your postal address and I'll send you my broken one. It broke at the shaft - the electrics are fine. Maybe you can make a good one out of both?
