    Zuffenhaus "RS" wheel

Just installed this new RS replica steering wheel from Zuffenhaus today. I'm very impressed with it- it's a very high quality piece and looks an feels like you would hope it would. I don't know how they're built/sourced but it's even stamped VDM. I wish I'd taken detailed photos before installation but didn't. It goes with the R seats so much better than the big, skinny rimmed stock wheel did.

    Zuffenhaus "R" Wheel

I had their 911R replica mounted for several years --- also, very nice

(Only replaced it 'cause I found a 'period correct' wheel)

What size hub were you running with the "R" wheel and would you prefer the 60 over the 80mm any preference info would be great. Also did the mounting hardware come with the wheel or was it outsourced. They are great looking wheels for sure and I may step up shortly
    Thanks,

I have the 80mm on now, started with the 60mm. A lot depends on how tall you are. The 80 gives a bit more clearance under the wheel for your legs, enter and exit. As I sit far back I do like the extra length. Hardware is included.

    boba,
Thanks for the input, I'm only 5'10" so getting in/out is not too much an issue I will probably go with the 80mm hub as well. Great looking interior BTW!
    Thanks,

    Hey, Phillip . . .

I started-out w/ a 60 mm, and I fit OK but what really made a difference was going w/ a smaller diameter wheel. I'm ~6'5" so 'clearance' is always an issue.

Regarding spacers, just keep in mind that, while the wheel will move out --- the turn-signal/wiper wands stay put . . . so any spacer will increase the distance your fingers'll need to span to reach some of the controls

HtH . . . and welcome to Our Little Corner

Platas- The seats are from Vintage Seats and are the "R" model. I highly recommend the seller and the seats!
