    Flat 350mm MOMO verification please

    Hi.
I found this early, flat, MOMO wheel in the attic and I don't remember the history how I got it, but I am planning on using it in my '72 basturd. It's dated '79 and is 350mm and in excellent condition. Looking at the back of the thump spokes, I don't see the square stitches like the ones I saw on other early MOMO wheels on this board. Is this an original flat MOMO or it has been rewrapped? The leather looks to be in excellent condition and that makes me think it may have been recovered. Also, I'm not sure if the horn button is of the same vintage (i.e., all black as opposed to having a chrome inner ring) or of a later time period? Thank in advance for all your help in shedding some light on this MOMO.

MOMO did stop stitching the thumb pad edges together at some point so, along with the 79 date, I wouldn't hesitate to say it looks completely original to me Andy.

Thanks again for all your inputs. It's a relief to know no thumb pad stitching is also appropriate. The leather is amazing for a 30+ years old wheel. I put some leather lotions on it but very little was absorbed in the past couples of days, and ended up wiping most of the lotions off. It'll look great in an early car :-).
