    Fuel Filter wire help...

    Found this little guy without a home today as I was removing the rotted sound mat from the engine bay. The other side of the wire is connected to the nut on the fuel filter housing as noted. Anyone know what this connects to??? TIA.

    As Mike says it's a ground/earth wire, and on my car (72E) it connects to a M8 stud welded to the inner wing just behind the fuel filter assembly - along with several other ground wires.
