I have one with an ordinary body but excellent glass and gasket...how do i seperate and mix and match the gasket with this one.

Did you mean the base gasket or the gasket surrounding the mirror if its the base I have one of those in good shape.

I know how to seperate the glass on the durants but not sure with these.

    Clyde,

You can try a pry out the plastic dried out plastic seal with putty knifes but 50% chance you will brake the glass. Plus you will probably damage the plastic seal as well but it is the only way to get to the bolt and plate holding the middle stem. If you need to replace the glass then easiest is to brake it and take the pieces out without touching the plastic seal. Edges of the original glass has the edges filed down but a good glass shop can do that as well.
Surprised that the mirror has not been sold anyway, free bump!
