    Four Year Resto Over...?

    Hi All

    I thought you might like to see what I think is pretty much the last legs of a four year restoration of my RHD 69t. The car is all matching numbers now as a result of my colour change to original Ossi blue from Arrow blue...

    My signature has a link to the restoration thread on Pelican, but some final shots are posted here for you. In brief, everything is new/reconditioned/replaced, and nearly everything was done by me in my home garage from paint to plating, upholstery (except the seats themselves), the wheels (shod in Michelin TBs), and rebuilding the 2.7RS spec engine and Wevo'd 915 box.

    I get to do it all over again on my 68 which is being built for historic competition

    Fubawu, the seats are Nurburgrings which I had redone in perforated leather and wool Blackwatch tartan.
