    FS: @eBay - 67 911s SWT

Thank you for closing that thread Peter.

I am as shocked as you are with the comments around here. It saddens my spirit to read the sarcasm, witty sniping, and potty-mouthed humor that goes on here.

You are a breath of fresh air and should be commended for your razor sharp censoring prowess. Keep it up please and I'll continue doing my part to make sure that you keep your moderating job.

    Mike,
Welcome to our twisted little corner of the world.
I will caution you though to take things with a grain of salt; one never knows if commentary here is serious or satire.

Whether you buy the SWT or not many of us would love to see pics posted, just be sure to leave the young lady and the DB out of them.

That does appear to be a really nice car.

IF you could find a needy 67S Targa what would that cost...$75k easy.

Now add money. $100k is nothing depending on the rust.

Even at $200k the buyer is coming out ahead.

I had a dealer offer me $200k for our car...a dealer. He was going to put it for sale for $250 and take $225. No B.S. Another dealer offered $180k over the phone. Assuming these dealers are front running the market they are very confident in this market.

I may sell down the road but we want to enjoy it...show it...and enter it into Pebble if they will have us. (my dream)
Bottom line, $200k for that targa in my mind seems more than reasonable.

Wanna bet in 12 months this looks 'well bought'?
