I'd rather be pillaged by a gorilla in a Panamera than even walk around the corner and see this thing driving away from me at a high rate of speed.

I once had a nice DS. Beautiful car in every way. Should never have sold it. But this cross breed ... No.

I always thought the first DS and early 911 share common design details.
Hood, integrated front bumpers, headlights, door cut-outs into front fenders, curved windshield, sloped line, A pillar.

The DS's front hood with turn signals location is similar on 901. The change from 356 style standard bumpers to the 901/911 integrated bumpers (seen also on a 1962 T6 proto) was most likely inspired by the DS, who had them first.
Back then no other serial car used this solution and Porsche shurely looked at this car. The DS was the most advanced car design on the market.

Also, originally, both cars have been wider at the front than at the rear, even the DS was front wheel drive.
