How to confirm the original colour of my 1970 911T?

    Hi,
I'm trying to determine what the original colour of my 1970 911T was. When it was repainted the VIN plate that should be on the the door pillar was lost, although there is a recent sticker on it that says Porsche/6206, which presumably refers to its current colour; Silver Metallic, which isn't an original 1970 colour. I am in the process of ordering a new VIN plate and they need the colour code to complete stamping it up. I'm guessing that it was originally Tangerine (colour code 2323) as shown in the under the dash picture. However, is there any way to confirm this? I don't have the original delivery docs.

Under the dash... looks like Tangerine - 2323.

As it is now: Colour code 6206.

Sure looks like Tangerine Paul. Can you get a certificate of authenticity from Porsche in Poland? If so the original color will be on that hopefully.
