Salesman showed me this Rose Gold watch yesterday. $37g's. LOL.

Apparently he had me confused with someone who rode the short bus to school.

I currently work for Chevron and my Uncle worked for Gulf. Every now and then I see Gulf stuff online. I have Chevron/Gulf merger belt buckle.

Each edition timepiece contains genuine Porsche 917 metal. The parts were integrated into the watch cases of the edition, so that each of the numbered edition watches includes the DNA of the legendary 917 racing car.

    Wow.
Contemporary version of The Emperor's New Clothes.

What's next? Threads of Steve McQueen's old underpants sewn into baseball caps?

Is this aimed at the poser market or?
    Who buys this stuff?

    Don't miss this one

Each edition timepiece includes original material of the iconic Käfer VW38 chassis no. 38/06. This special car is one of only three remaining VW38 prototypes in the world and thus one of the oldes Käfers. It is owned by the Grundmann Family – collectors and restorers of rare vintage Volkswagen and our partner for this edition. The original parts were supplied by the Grundmann Family and subsequently integrated into the watch cases of the edition, so that each of the numbered edition watches includes the DNA of the car.
