67 RS Deluxe is even less in count, 253 I believe. I have one and don't know how many are known to exist as some owners are probably-un aware that they have a 67 Deluxe! But, you are right , the 66 is a low production number for sure.......

Haven’t been reporting to much on this car for a while. It’s been a frustrating road after taking my car to a shop in North Hollywood (yes, you know who I’m talking about) for the paint and body work. I felt fortunate at the time just to get the car out of their shop after 2+ years. That was 5 years ago. The quality of their work was not up to my standards (sadly, they weren’t up to anyone’s standards). Every time they would call me to tell me it was done, I would go out there and point out problem areas and ask them to be fixed, only to find out that they would just push the car to the back of the line for months at a time. Stupidly, I had already paid them in full. I finally accepted the car just because I figured they were never going to make it right. After getting the car home and really going through it, I was pretty depressed about the cars condition and just covered it up in the garage and walked away from it.

After some time, I forged ahead very slowly and put the car back together. I’ve worked on it here and there over the last 5 years. The car is about 99% complete now, but the body and paint still needs some attention. The car left today for body shop #2, wish me luck .

So cool! I am always especially interested in the cars that are somewhat close to my vin number, and yours is only 200 or so after mine. Way to keep with it and I sure hope I get my car to this point some day.
