    FS: Leather 380mm Steering Wheel

380mm steering wheel with thick double wrapped "old school" leather covered rim. P/N is 914.347.805.11 (thanks Allen) and the wheel is date code “73 5”recently covered with Porsche "Wheelskin" (PNA 347 000) that I sewed on. Taped with screws to mount early 911 turn signal cancel ring - direct bolt-on to your 1965-1973 911.

$300 add $50 for horn pad (no, don't want to sell pad separately) - plus shipping. Thanks

Wheel skin box says cover is for 1974 and later, do people actually put these on early steering wheels? I would check and see what is underneath and maybe sell wheel skin cover with box separate. Just my .02

Too late - I sewed on the wheel skin to the wheel I am selling. I added padding to between the skin and the wheel so the it fit ice and tight and had a cushy feel.

The part number you posted is not consistent with the sunken hub wheel you show. Either the photo is the wrong photo or the part number is wrong? THanks.

    Allen,

The P/N number is difficult to read as the stamping is very light at the end numbers. So, if you or anyone else on the board can Id the wheel correctly I would be most grateful. That aside, in addition to "offers" to correct the P/N, I'd open to other offers to buy the wheel - ;>). Thanks

Photos almost never are better than 'up close and personal" unless professionally taken. So. clearly no one can see better than you from this photo. Anyway, this is a sunken hub, much less valuable than the "flat hub RS part number" you posted the the number 805 10. How did you come up with that number anyway? Thanks.

    Allen,

How about we do this: I will edit my original post to "P/N unkonw" and you can start your own thread to discuss what the part number is.

I'll tell you tomorrow what the part number is for a leather covered sunken hub wheel. I have my wheel "database' on my PC at my office. Meanwhile. IMHO, you we can leave it here. Thanks.
