    WTB: Heat Exchangers for 69 911E With MFI

    Hi guys,

    Interested in a set of correct heat exchangers for use with 1969 - 1973 MFI motor.
    Left side should have the extra tube for the preheat.

    Interested in a good set, Original OR SSI.

    What year is your application? The 72/73 boxes have the extra shroud around the left side that the 2.0 and 2.2 cars don't. I have a pretty nice set that came off a 71E with only 40K miles on it.

    Hi Rick,

    I have a 1969E and it does have the extra outlet for the MFI. The 2.0L cars that are MFI do need the special left side heat exchanger.

    PM me a cost please if you are have the set I'm looking for.

    Yes, it has the spud for the thick heavy heat hose to pump thermostat, but the 2.0 and 2.2 don't have the shroud around the exhaust pipes that sends warm air up to the flapper box that is connected to the air cleaner.

    I have a pair. Driver's side is quite nice with preheat tube. Passenger not so nice. $400 for the pair or $300 if you want only the MFI specific side. Email to matt@unobtanium-inc.com for details or photos. - Matt
