    Idenifying My Rear Brake Calipers

    Hi All,

I am in the process of stripping down my 1972 911, and i have taken some photos of the rear brake Calipers, they seem to have different numbers on them. So can any body please help me with identifying what these numbers mean. I am about to pull them off so i haven't got any measurements yet, but will in the near future. Thanks in advance and sorry for my ignorance on this.

No Worries, Mate. Your car seems to have the calipers it was born with. Those numbers don't mean a thing.

    Ciao

    Thanks Jim,

Wasn't sure what the numbers meant.......guessing just some internal numbering from Porsche or ATE.

Jim is correct that you can ignore the numbers. They seem to be just casting mold numbers; and they would need a lot of molds.
