    Thank you for sharing what must have been a wonderful experience... it has for many years been my dream to drive across the high plains of Patagonia (since seeing a couple of Argentinian 'road movies')... I am envious indeed and yet now even more motivated to drive my car there someday...

    Over The Top! About 15 years ago I walked by a shop in the next town that was working on a Type 35 B that was originally purchased by Henry Ford. In the corner was a Maserati open wheeler, all original, that had been in Argentina for the last 50-60 years. Any treasures like that in the Rally?
    Any of the Type 35 Pursang Recreations?

    Picture overload, apologies for posting so many images...but the trip and the rally was absolutely fantastic. Lots of Bugatti and Bentleys from the Twenties and Thirties driven by real passionate Argentinians who never hesitated to drive their cars (as if possessed), rain or shine.

    The hotel of Llao Llao was ideally located, surrounded by lakes and mountains. At times it looked like the Swiss Alps, and others like Colorado or Montana, but there was a huge sense of freedom that was simply unbelievable.....
