    Door handle question

There is a 69 coupe in the for sale thread today. It has photos of the door handle with large exposed gaskets on the door handles. Is this the way Porsche delivered the 69 with? I don't recall seeing door handles mounted this way before.

All indications are that this is a 1970 MY car. As it's pictured in the Netherlands it could be registered as a 1969 but it's what we would call a '70.

Also I've seen those pictures before...

So that is correct beginning with the 70 MY? I want my 69 handle to be correct if in fact it should be like the photo.

    It's a MY 70...

'69 was the last year for the 2.0 motor and push button door handles, this car has triggers and a 2.2L motor. Certain countries deem the year of registration as the model year, despite manufacturers releasing new MY cars in September.

I was wondering the same thing, does anybody repop the 69 door handle rubber?
