This might work, although not tartan, but there are so many different shades of red that you’d have to make sure this particular red tint is close to your exterior color. Funny I bought these GTS seats a few years ago from a guy that never installed them so they’re still in perfect condition in the box they arrived in. I just loved the way they look even though I didn’t have a car to put them in.

Indeed I too have lusted over Dave’s build. Over the years I’ve even saved other pics he has posted of his car. This is one of my favorites!

I have a single rare and totally original Recaro fiberglass 914 seat previously mentioned in this thread. Was in a car I recently sold so it will also be available if anyone is interested.

    Please excuse the unfinished driveway.

Will be finishing another in the next year or two, but streetable. Not likely, but Tour Auto is a dream...
Watching this car go through the Corkscrew during RR6 was one of the highlights of the weekend for me—Thomas drove it super well, and getting low enough to watch the daylight under the cars proved an interesting comparison between this 914-6 and the hoard of taildraggers trying to catch up. Just clean, clean, clean through the bends. Looked like a fabulous setup.

And another very cool example. Feel like I've seen this car before…but I can't pin down where.

For all the limelight 914s have had lately, I still think they're underrated.

After 31 years spent driving the same 914, my thoughts on 914s sure were changing on this day…

Photos courtesy of Max Fleiger... #70 is John Straub. The most entertaining four laps from that race! embarrassingly forgot to turn on the in-car camera. only video from the weekend is in the paddock
