FS: 73.5 Tool Bag & Wrenches

    ** SOLD **

This is the hard to find 73.5 tool bag with four Select Steel wrenches. The bag is supple with excellent stitching. Wrenches are in excellent condition.

There was a similar one listed here recently with three wrenches that sold for $250.00 which seemed about right to me. I'm offering this one, with four wrenches, for the same price.

$250.00 plus shipping. - Reduced to $120.00 shipped CONUS

    Thanks,
    John

Hi John. Is this the bag that uses a string to close, as opposed to snaps? If so, what does the string looks like? Thanks.

    Andy...

No snaps. My understanding is that they had the string tie for a short time and then one with no string. No sign of strings having ever been on this one.

I don't need this and it might be useful to someone else. How about $120.00 shipped CONUS?

    John,

If I read this correctly a 73.5 bag either had a string or not. Consequently, if you have a bag that looks like this with snaps it is not correct for a 73.5 car? Just looking for clarity because I bought a bag with snaps from a member on this registry promoting that the bag was correct for a 73.5 car and I bought it on that premise.

    Hi Dean,

They used in 1973 both bags, with snaps and string. The bags were 100% identic (except snaps/ string). I know it for sure because a friend of mine has 911 T delivered in 06/73 (100% original & untouched car, first owner) with a bag that has the snaps. Another really untouched 911 S from 2/73 has the bag with the string. It is difficult to say when they started and stopped using snaps or strings. Both seems to be correct.

    Cheers..........Oliver
