    FS: Steering Wheel Batwings

    ** ALL SOLD **

How does this stuff accumulate?! I have seven batwings - part number 901 615 805 0 - that I'll probably list on eBay but I thought I would go ahead and offer the best three here in case someone can use one. These are in excellent condition and are complete with the mounting brackets.

Here's a close-up of the top one. They're all in pretty equivalent condition.

They seem to go for $75-80 on eBay. I'm in clearance mode so I'm offering them here at $45.00 plus shipping. Good opportunity to replace yours if it is getting a little worn.

    Thanks,
    John

Are those what is referred to when using the term "batwing"? I thought the "batwing" was the SWB horn with the round leather center and the black steel frame.

I know it's all vernacular, so maybe the term isn't used consistently. I'm just curious to know.

This was discussed in a thread here (that maybe I started) a few months ago. There seems to be variation - maybe it's a regional thing. The crowd I run with (not a real reliable group maybe) calls the ones with the leather center and black steel frame butterflies and the ones pictured here batwings. As I recall the consensus on the thread was just the opposite as you indicate. I guess I'm just too old to change.

Sounds like we're the same age.

    It's cool, regardless.
