Can H1 lenses be installed on H4 headlight assemblies?

    Hi,

Just wondering if H1 lenses be installed on H4 headlights assemblies?

What are the differences (aside from the lenses and bulbs) between H1 and H4?

    Thanks.

It should fit but you answered your own question. The position of the bulbs means that it will not function as intended.

They are the same shape and can interchange, but the lensing will be wrong. H1's have two single filament H1 bulbs, two reflectors and lensing to match. H4's have a single dual filament H4 bulb, a single reflector, and lensing to match...

Both look good,on the car, H1's may be more correct for some years, H4's work great and cost much less.
