    65/66 door lock parts

    While disassembling my 65/66 door handles for re-chroming I managed to break the lock-washer (correct expression??) that keeps the door button in place (red arrow). Any suggestions where to get a new one?

    Just crossed that bridge with my '67S...I got mine loose VERY carefully.

    Doubt if that is available new...you'll probably have to harvest another handle from salvage, and carefully harvest that ring.

    Good luck!

    Is this dang part sided ?

    Are the 65-67 internals the same, as far as the part being sought here? {red arrow in post # 1}
