    Cleaning SSI exchangers

Now that my motor is shiny bright and new, Id like to clean the stainless SSI stuff and my stainless M&K muffler so they look nice as well. What have you guys had good results with? They arent rusty or corroded. just off colored and dirty. Thanks!

Considering what orange bar hood emblems are going for these days, I thought it was a deal at $475.

I used a bronze pot scrubber (like coarse steel wool) and mineral spirits. The bronze or brass won't scratch them up.

They are so pretty by themselves. Just use some heavy gel type degreaser and then scrub them with steel wool. Then polish them up with a buffer and some metal polish.

Looks like aluminizing, like the famous "bundle of snakes" exhaust on that "hot Vee" V8 old Ferrari F1 car- the 158 I think it was.
