    Which oil tank needed?

I'm building a 2.7 engine in my 67 SWB, do i need a 67 oiltank to fit the body or a 72 oiltank to fit the engine?

    All advice is welcome

Thanks for your reply, so that would be a 67 tank because the 2.7 oiltank does not fit my narrow body?

it's not the width of the tank, it's the size of the hole in the fender. 73- tanks have the filler forward of the breather and it's part of the tank-- they dont fit in the existing holes.

You can use a 69-71 tank, it will fit, is slightly bigger and will be a lot easier to find.

And if you want you can have FABCAR work it over
