Hand brake lever plastic handle removal ?

I would appreciate hearing some hints how to remove the plastic hand grip from the hand brake lever. I did a search on the Registry and could not find anything, but suspect others have tackled this before. I was unable to also locate anything in the shop manual. Thank you!

Heat it up with a heat gun, periodically stoping to twist it. Eventually it will come loose.
