WTB: Hot Rod Longblock for MFI, 2.5 to 3.0

My 72E widebody project is in for paint.

Just throwing this out there before moving ahead and doing something with the original 2.4E engine. If anyone has a fresh engine (preferably longblock) that would give this thing some Punch - would consider a Buy vs Make :-) I have a nice 2.4E MFI setup. I could adapt the pump and mod the throttle bodies to match large ports. Would like to stay MFI, but would consider something Carbed also. Want to stay sort of "In Period" and not do a 3.2-3.6 conversion. Could budget up to $20K for the right setup. Picked up a great set of 9's & 11's - this thing needs some Punch
    Thanks!
