    data storage for unread posts

it seems that data to determine whether a post/thread is new or not is being stored on the device used to peruse the forums. Could the box be clicked to store that data on the server instead? It's possible. I view the forum on a few different devices and computers and whether something is new or not is dependent on whether I've looked at it on said device, rather than whether or not I've looked at it at all. It would make browsing much more efficient.

actually it does work for me, I view on phones, tablets, PCs and macs at varying times, and it does seem that when I view on one devices, as long as I'm logged in as me, the next time I visit on the next device, it knows what I saw....

I use the "what's new" link exclusively

hmmm. I use "new posts". It also doesnt seem to know what I have read or not read in any forum I'm looking at. If I read it in my iphone, its still unread on my macbook.

this is still a problem. the cookies for what is read and unread are being stored on the computer stuff is being viewed on, NOT the server. its not a lot of work to change this.

this is an example. I read all pages and posted in this thread, and yet it still shows as unread a half an hour later.
