    Need help finding 165/175/185 x 15 tires

Can anyone offer info on where to get new tires for 4.5 x 15 wheels?
preferably older style radial type tires, ( xwx, dunlop, etc)? Thanks.
I looked at tire rack, discount tires, and they say out of stock at this time, or nothing available
    Thanks and Froehliche Weinachten!

    Vintage Tire Choices

    The fastest/easiest/least-expensive choice would be Vredestein's 'Sprint Classic' . . .

    (These're on my car, so . . .)

    The prettiest/authentic/high-end choice would be Coker's (nee-Michelin) 'XWX' re-pop --- aka 'chubbies' . . .

    A 'right-brain'/period-correct/seldom seen+used alternative are Pirelli's 'CN-36' . . .

    (These're actually on my Kardex, so . . .)

    185/70 = too much spillage on a 4 1/2" rim

I have never seen folding chairs with the width extensions below the seat backs like that. It looks bigger than standard 18.75" width.

    Mike,
Not sure what you're used to; that's standard government issue for schools in the Starch Belt.

Peter, I have 165 Vredestein Sprint Classics on 4.5x15 steelies on my '66 and I really like them. If you're interested, Group 2 Motorsports in Seattle carries 'em.
