We've got the White Christmas thing going on here in Toronto in the form of a major ice storm. Too bad that it left about 250,000 without power. We had our power restored after about 8 hours. Very thankful for that! Merry Christmas to all!

Unlike the poor suffering folks in the rest of the country, it hasn't been cold, icy nor snowy……… but, rather, it's dry as a bone. So far, 2013 has been the the driest year in California history. Hopefully '14 brings lots of rain.

Merry Christmas and a joyous, prosperous New Year.
