    I'm not sure if I'm understanding your use of the metric system in this case, are you suggesting the paint is nearly 1/4" thick (6.35mm) so that at a door jam they would have had to allow a 16mm or 5/8'' gap to allow for paint to leave a 4mm gap?

    I think erick is misinterpreting mils (1/1000th of an inch) with mm. 6mils would be about 0.15mm.

    yes correct. My paint gauge has both scales. 6 mils which is a pretty typical thickness, equates to +-152 microns on the metric scale - same as the 0.15 mm above.

    Great looking car. The owner said that he had sent it of for refurbishment, but it was original paint. ops like they did a very thorough detail and redid some of the suspension, engine sounds sweet.
    I don't know why everyone is trashing the broker, this car is way, way above average.

    Because that's what the none players do that have no plans nor the means to buy it, so they just trash it and all that are involved and those who are in the know.....sad but true .
