    Deatails about Standard Seats 1970-1973

    Hi,
does anybody know the details on the standard seats that changed between 1970-1973. I have two complete pairs with different headrests and different seat frames. Both pairs have the same upholstery (leatherette and in the middle corduroy)

    1) Which headrest did they use in 1973
    2) When did they start to install two fore/aft adjustments per seat at the seat frame. I guess it was 1973 because of safety reasons? That means they changed the seat frame in 1973, right?

    Thanks Oliver

The 1973 seats had the peanut headrests. Previous seats (to 71 ?) had a long D shaped headrest.
The 1973 seats had double locks, operated by a single lever. The seat pan was the same as previous, but they added another rod, lock and a wire that went across the seat pan that attached to the side with the lever.
