    Machine shop in Central California

    I'm in need of a reputable maching shop for the rebuild of a 1969 911S. I'm in central California and prefer not to drive too far to deliver the disassembled engine. Any recommendations?

    Second. Comp Engineering is possibly the best in the country.

    That's funny. I always recommend Walt - and yet I always wonder just how many Porsche owners are in his area. And here you are!

    FWIW, my favorite work done by Walt for me (and there is plenty) is when he reground my 912 rockers.
