WTB: Blaupunkt Hamburg Radio from 72

Wanted is a US version blaupunkt Hamburg Radio to suit a 72. Doesn't have to be in working order but must be in good condition.

    Thanks

My research tells me that the Hamburg was the low end of the Blaupunkts and only came in an AM version. Here is one on the Samba that might work for you:

Don't let the faceplate discourage you that can be corrected and I can help you source that.

This blaupunkt hamburg on the samba is from 1970, so it's not correct if you are searching for a '72 radio

There is no '72 US version of the Hamburg, they just used models mfg from '70 all the way through 1973. Keep in mind this is an AM radio only and was not very popular, so no US version change until 1974. PD Targa this would be correct for your car if you want a Blaupunkt Hamburg for 1972!!

If you want a correct 1972 blaupunkt hamburg radio, you have to buy the 1972 blaupunkt hamburg FR, but it is not a US model

Thanks Mike and Yellow356 for your information. I have located the original Blaupunkt warranty card and the serial number is 7630517, so I have purchased the one on samba.(thanks Mike). Mike, if you have a faceplate please let me know.

    Thanks
