    I hate when this happens.
I want to please everyone but my earliest responses are also not full price offers. I have full price offers to buy and I guess my feeling is, it's fairest to take the first full price offer.

I apologize it didn't work out cleanly this time.

Ron, you have a returned PM.

I tell you what I hate when people put something up for sale but don't monitor the site for a timely response.

It was 18 hrs ago I made my first offer to buy via PM, proabably your first offer to buy, and I never had a chance to change my offer as you never responded until after you had accepted Rons full price offer.

I had actually a number of offers below my asking price. Was I supposed to play tag with everyone to see if I could line up all their schedules and play each "bidder" off one another? If so, how long should that continue before I accept the "highest" offer?

    Here's how I do stuff:
    I ask a price (posted)
If I get a full price commitment-it's sold
No "fake auctions" where only the seller has visibility
If there are lower offers I'll give it 24 hours, in case there is a full price offer guy that just hadnt seen my ad
That also goes for communication. 24 hrs allowance coming and going.
    This is my basic policy.

It's not personal. You or others may feel differently. Perhaps I am just pi$$ing off everyone. But this is what I have found works the best so far. I am happy to entertain constructive criticism , ideas how to avoid this type of situation , etc.

I hope you find your parts at good prices and I wish you the best.

    Sincerely
    Scott
