Re-Seating Chrome Trim in Rear Window Seal - on Car

Anyone have any trade and/or experience secrets on how I can get the chrome trim on my rear window seal re-seated? After installation of a new OEM rear window seal one of the corners and about 6in of left bottom horizontal section of the trim came out of the seal, and its a #$%@ to get reseated with all attempted techniques I can come up with without damaging the seal.

    Suggestions?

    Thanks!

Mike, there is only one way, take the windshield back out, re-install the trim in the seal again, making sure to bend the trim (gently) so it follows perfectly the seal and looks straight, then reinstall back into the car.
This goes for both Targa and Coupe..
    Good luck,

I had that happen to me as well and I finally had to remove the glass and start over. I even called a glass guy I know, and he told me the same thing. Start over...not what I wanted to hear.

I always make sure the window trim is perfect before installing in the window molding. Its a nightmare to straighten later.
