    the only close up of the interior / dash that i have seen is when 0285 was being restored at Power Line - http://www.power-line-restauration.d...3&S=0&suchwort

    I am sure you will have seen it as well

    However that probably wont help due to the condition of the car at that stage and the fact the main gauge you can see, the tacho, has been replaced with a later one at some stage. Also the rest are dirty and broken so unlikely to help at all (although to me they look stock
    are you referring to the apparent band of darker black around the outside part of the tacho and speedo appearing to highlight the numbers / markings more. i have never seen that treatment before and was wondering if it was an optical illusion
    i suspect you need period photos but i have never seen any with that sort of detail of either of those cars

    is that what the apparent "different blacks" on the gauges in the picture were? a part of the glass Matt and a part not, thanks

    You could look into the possibility of having a set of glass lenses made with an anti reflection coating. Not factory but a cleaner solution.
