    I think he did...$45k.

And that is probably a decent price. Assuming its a total re-do and you have to find a 67S motor (not really that hard) and all the other bits...someone could do well with this. Have the car checked for any significant damage underneath the obvious changes.

If I were in the market I would jump on this for $40k...remove all the noise and its a 67S in a very desirable color. Bet this sells in less than 48 hours.

It would have been nice if PCNA had put the 'S' after the VIN on their Certificate, because listing the Webasto as optional raises a question. I believe it was standard with the S. Of course we all know how inaccurate that certificate might be.

It was standard, but I believe shows up on the Kardex as an option.

Dealer installed A/C is never on the kardex because it didn't leave the factory with it.

Agreed, what I was saying is that sometimes factory equipment is left off. It could be factory a/c just not on the cardex... Pretty sure the sunroof is original however it's not mentioned.

No such thing as factory air in '67. Was American option installed by dealers. Porsche supplied parts but never installed at factory. This is neither a York or Tecumseh compressor so install was much later.

It looks as if the a/c and the updated compressor were installed at different times. While the compressor looks to be older the rest if the system appears to be period parts.

Think you may be right about it being a dealer installed system, except for the updated compressor of course.
