    WTB: 73 Glove box door

Looking for a nice glove box door for a 73 911. I don't care about the aluminum piece in the front. The black back piece which is a soft plastic must not be warped. Thanks

I have a door Rick, you could still buy the black foam injected piece from Porsche 2 years ago when I purchased one.

No idea what the doors worth maybe $50 plus probably $30 shipping from Down Under if you don't find what you want stateside.

Thanks Clyde, I'll check with Porsche. I would have never dreamed they still have that.

No more than 2 years ago when I bought the last one Rick so you never know.

Here is one at Aase Sales - http://www.aasesales.com/products/g4d-102699

May not be straight enough for what you are looking for though.

Got the new ones from Porsche. They are wrong. If you order the part # for a 73, you get a earlier one with the lock off to the left instead of the center. So still looking for a nice door with the lock in the middle.

    Rick:

I have a very nice one. Send me your email and I will send some pics. It has the foam, and the vinyl strip is Sepia...center locking (weighs a ton...that's why I have it on the shelf.) Don't have the key though.

Thanks for the reply. Yours is a little more warped than I would like. I am going to wait and see what comes up.
