Who sells nicest reproduction front bumper deco

Who sells the best, nicest reproduction front bumper deco strip for an early car, non S. See we are talking thin stripped deco. I have seen some complaints about poor fitting and quality issues. I need one without the bumperette cut outs. Thanks

As far as I know, everybody sells the same deco, including us. It is just described differently by different vendors.

So your saying they all pretty much suck? JK So is it better to restore the original one and have it re-anodized or are the repops worth using? If they are all the same, does this mean they all will need a tremendous amount of patience and work to get them to fit properly. Thanks for the help.

Restoring the original is probably the best but sometimes that isn't an option.
I have not had as much problem with the aftermarket deco as some have.
The fitment of this aftermarket front deco took less than 15 min.
Sorry, I didn't take a better close up but It fit nicely and looked much better than the crashed original.

I wouldn't say they suck. My opinion pretty much mirrors Harvey's.

Front decos don't give a lot of trouble conforming. They tend to be shinier with sharper edges than the originals, which were anodized. The rears have the same cosmetic issues, however, they have given me a real challenge, as the curve is hard to match. Set aside some time to do some bending.

The base seals on the repro pieces commonly sold are far too big. In the past, I've harvested old, correct base seals and installed them on the repro pieces.

Can you guys speak to brand or supplier. I know Jim mentioned he thinks they are all the same, but I was wondering if there were confirmations or personal recommendations from guys that have bought and installed a particular vendors Deco. I am referring to the thin deco for early and Non S cars, not the wide S shown in Harvey's picture. My original molding is very tired plus it has holes from the bumperettes so at a minimum I would have to install the rubber after it was re-anodized. I think this is not a very logical option, certainly not a simple one. Also, please feel free to comment on the thin base molding that Eminence mentioned never being correct. I'm not sure I have any old stuff.

I know of no other maker of the deco other than the company that has supplied decos to me for the last 47 years. I don't think any one would argue that they could be made better but at a substantial increase in cost. The maker is not willing to change and competitors are unwilling to make a superior product but at a much higher price point. Maybe
Eric can chime in here. I know he faces this delema constantly.
