    This is the wheel you need in a '64 and an early '65. They're very fragile, just pushing yourself out of the car can cause breaking of the alu branches, let alone a minor accident. So not many are left. The weight difference is one kilo. So 900 grams for the alu and 1,9 kilos for the steel wheel (approximately)

    Does anyone know when steel wheels were introduced? Model year '66?

    As a reference point, 302596 (built Nov '65) has an aluminum wheel.
