New member with a lot to learn

Hello my name is Dan Stricklin and I have just joined the registry. I have owned a 1971 911 S for several years but untill recently have not had the opportunity to enjoy it. I am the 2nd owner of the car and though I have owned it for sometime I really do not know much about Porsches. I know the history of this vehicle pretty well. I purchased the car from one of my wifes CPA clients in Denver back in the late 80's. The husband and wife owned 2 911 S that were very similar and they raced them at rallys in the Colorado area. They raced in Steamboat Springs events often. The wifes car was destroyed by fire and this was the husbands car. I purchased it from the wife after the husband passed away. I have had some work done to the car but it needs a lot of tlc which I plan to do in the future. I am looking forward gaining more insight on my car and 911S in general. The vin on my car is 9111300100. I will try to post photos of the car but I am not exactly sure I know what I am doing.

    Weeeee!

71 Sunroof S with the "standard" sport seats and in the green metallic! Do you have the removable back seat extensions? Any other options?

I expect Rick and Brian chiming in any moment.

    Welcome Dan..

Wow, what a stunning color. Looks like your car is very original in its current configuration. Enjoy getting to know the car and the helpful folks here on the forum.
