    Home made Headlight Cover

As a french guy I like cooking (sure wearing a beret and holding a baguette ). Meaning thinking of that meal I've seen/tasted in a great restaurant, and try to reproduce it at home. This is what I did for the toolbag which I am currently doing a custom one for a friend, and now am doing headlight cover.
Remember I bought a set of Marchal headlight from SWT911Targa. I got into the net to look for cover for these...was not happy with my findings. I decided to make them myself.

Hereafter the first try...well it is too early to state if it tastes good or not...not finished yet...but...most important I'am happy with that.
Made then of soft black Vinyl, cut a 18cm diametre circle and a rectangle piece 56cmx6cm, bought round shaped elastic (2meters), 1 meter of flat 4cm wide black elastic and 2 black grip pads.

I try to sew using my sewing machine but I miss some power, therfore I decided to sew it by hand.

It will be finished tomorrow. Just sharing.

Xavier, very nice. I also had problems finding covers for my Cibie 40s and 45s. I keep looking, but no luck so far.

This is really cool, Xavier. You piped both the front and back edge of the cover? This gives me the inspirations I need to make a set of cover for my Hella 115 TTG lights. Thanks again.

Have you thought about placing a little square of tranpsparent plastinc in the center? Is was done on some covers. (Rallye 2) in order to see if you missed to shut them off!

ANd if you place it well, you can show the Cibie/Marchal Logo!

Andy, Serge, drop me a sketch of what you have in mind with the light sizes and I see what I can do.
I am now moving houses, so It might take a bit of time before getting back to you.

    Appreciate.

    All,
I may think of taking orders - but would be at cost with a very tiny margin for the Sreg.

    Let me know you thoughts.
    Cheers
