What does the screwdriver for '73.5 toolkit look like?

    Hi all.
I'm helping a friend piecing together a toolkit for his beautiful '73.5 CIS. The only piece of the toolkit I'm not sure of is the screwdriver. I've always thought that the '73.5 toolkit would have the red handle with doubled-ended "Chrom-Vanadium" shank. However, I've been talking to a couples of '73.5 owners and both said that their original toolkits came with the three-shanks, yellow handle screwdriver. Can anyone else confirm this? Thanks in advance for all your help.

This is the tool kit from my 1973.5 (missing the fan belt wrench and pliers)

Thanks Harry. It looks like other people also are saying the correct screwdriver is the red-handled with reversible shank. I have access to the red-handled with reversible shank screwdriver but the seller wouldn't take less than $450 for it. D*mn...I was hoping that the yellow handle screwdriver would be correct so I can piece together a nice 73.5 toolkit for him, for well under $1K.

It seems that early 73 cars had two screwdrivers, middle of the year had the red handle reversible shown above, and some later cars even had the yellow handle that I believe carried over to 74. You may want to check with Cees (RSexS); I believe he had a yellow handle reversible, thought it was wrong, and then did some digging and discovered that it may actually be correct. My build was May 1973 and has the red reversible. I believe Cees was June.

1973 definitely had a mixed bag of tools (pun intended)- 3 different bags were used as well. So there is no one "right" setup.
