    Anybody know what front struts these are?

    I have a 911E from 1970. My service records suggest that they are the original hydropneumatic struts, but I´m not sure. Its stamped 901 341 083 01 / Boge 6 2512-00-029-0 Anybody know for sure? For the moment the struts works well. But I wonder if there is any way to put inserts into these?

    We used to convert these often by machining a bushing for the strut housing. If you have torsion bars they've probably already been converted.

    Frank,
    Is there any easy way to see if theses have been converted? My car came equipped with front and rear stabilizers 15 mm (option 404).

    Nick,

    I would be very careful trying to open the Oleodynamic legs. It would be initially safer to look at the front control arms to see if the torsion bars have been fitted.

    It seems unusual to have the 'Comfort' front legs and a rear sway bar but an interesting spec.
